> A font, in a week.
The Second-hand font was the result of a one-week typography workshop. We were initially asked to take pictures of our surroundings, and developing a concept based on them. The main inspiration for me were the second-hand shops and the eccentric objects that people can buy there. In this case, those objects are represented by the characters. Each letter is designed to be somehow strange, and to have a “used and repaired” personality. A second-hand font is: used, awkward, eccentric, quirky, fun.
